Mass in the hands
A pistol is a hang change, not a fashion
Nellie Seabrook spent a James Island summer missing toward the Cooper after a pistol went on without a second photograph. The toe had dropped. Extra tape, a fat paddle, or a counterweight in the butt does the same work. We hang before the wrap and after the wrap so July is not a surprise.
Before and after
Two danglers, one head
The first hang is the gamer as it arrived. The second is after the pistol, paddle, or tape. If the degrees move more than the arc can absorb, we say so and we do not install the wrap just because it was ordered. Harbor moisture will move it again; Maren writes the cabinet reading on both photographs.
What we will not do with a pistol
We will not treat a grip change as a putting lesson. We will not tell you a pistol “quiets the hands.” We will tell you whether the toe fell, how much, and whether peninsula grain will notice. If the only reason you want a pistol is a swing thought, start with a coach, then come back when the wrap has a hang reason.
